Undergraduate Placements
We are particularly looking for individuals who will be studying, or are interested in, one or more of the following disciplines:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Physics
• Electronic Engineering
• Mathematics
• Optical Engineering
• Software Engineering
• Manufacturing
• Other relevant engineering disciplines
Industrial Placements
Industrial Placements are aimed at students already enrolled on an undergraduate course, studying one of the subjects above, and who are required to undertake a sandwich placement as part of their degree course. You will spend a year in industry, being involved in a number of projects, where you will build your skills and knowledge in a real-work placement.

Pre-University Placements
These year long placements are offered to students who are studying or plan to study engineering, or its associated subjects, at undergraduate level. These placements are paid and the work is relevant to the engineering needs of the business and interest of the applicant.
Students can enter a Pre-University Placement following the successful completion of A-Level studies and where a university place has been deferred for a year.

Summer Placements
These placements are mainly aimed at students studying relevant AS-Levels, A-Levels and undergraduate courses. The placement durations are typically between 8 and 12 weeks and give students a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills which will prove invaluable throughout any engineering career.
We have now filled all the positions for our 2012 Summer Placement programme. We will be accepting applications from September onwards for 2013 Summer Placements.
